TEPENTÚ: A story of cooperation

Thirty years ago, Larry Jacobs and Sandra Belin, organic farmers from the San Francisco Bay area, began working with small farmers in the southern Baja of Mexico to grow organic produce under the Del Cabo label to supply evolving West Coast markets during winter months. Year by year the project expanded from a group of small farmers around San Jose del Cabo to several farming groups throughout Baja and western Mexico.
