Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
  2. 1/2 cup fresh mango pulp (from approx. 2 to 3 ripe mangoes)
  3. 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  4. 1/3 cup cold water
  5. 4 tablespoons sugar or honey
  6. 10 regular-size ice cubes
  7. Optional: Omit the sugar or honey and add cardamom or salt

Directions

  1. Whirl all ingredients except the ice cubes together in a blender on high speed for 30 seconds.
  2. Then, add the ice cubes and blend until frothy. Serve chilled.
