Marketing Coordinator

Jacobs Farm Del Cabo is seeking an enthusiastic, agreeable candidate and effective communicator to be our marketing coordinator. This versatile and collaborative position is entry-level with many opportunities for growth and exposure to the world of organic farming and food. Our coordinator position reports directly to and works closely with our marketing manager.

Our marketing coordinator is the keeper, messenger and ambassador of all things brand. The position requires naturally great communications skills, both written and spoken, as well as natural creativity and an eye for well-done branding and design.

Project management skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing timelines effectively is critical. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work and communicate cross-functionally are equally as important.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties

Supports the development, maintenance and organization of marketing collateral and assets: including product sales sheets, presentations, packaging artwork, advertisements, e-newsletters, web content, etc.

Assists in digital, web, and social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) efforts, regularly creating and updating content, staying up to date on changing trends and interpreting analytics, including preparation of status reports and results of the campaigns

Coordinates all trade show efforts (show registrations, hotel reservations, exhibitor services, advertising and sponsorship opportunities, product deliveries), from cross-functional planning, organizing and tracking to final execution on the show floor

Supports our new product development process through project and timeline organization, day-to-day communication across internal and vendor teams, and meeting preparation

Owns various administrative tasks including marketing supplies inventory and ordering, vendor invoice processing, internal file organization and more


  • Local residence and ability to work in our Santa Cruz office on a weekly basis required


  • Four Year College Degree preferred

  • Work experience in marketing, communications, and/or digital media, including knowledge of graphic design and social media best practices, tools, and etiquette

  • High degree of proficiency in Google and Microsoft applications including Slides/Powerpoint, Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Google Forms, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, MailChimp and other marketing tools and techniques preferred

Considered bonuses:

  • Work experience in the agriculture or environmental industry

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Basic CMS and web design knowledge

  • Photography/videography skills
