Marketing Coordinator

Jacobs Farm Del Cabo seeks an effective communicator who is highly organized and market-oriented to be the coordinator, keeper, and messenger of all things brand. This is a versatile and collaborative position that will report directly to the Marketing Manager, in the Santa Cruz, CA office.

This person has excellent communications skills, including proven writing/editing ability; graphic design proficiency is a plus, but not required. Possesses project management skills, with ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing timelines, effectively.

Is willing to learn, adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities as required, and has time management skills. Is positive, open, flexible, and able to respond to requests on short-notice.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Assist with the writing, development, maintenance and organization of marketing collateral including sell sheets, master presentations, advertisements, POS, e-blasts, newsletters, web content, etc.

Manage and organize all brand marketing content, collateral, and tools - written, digital, photographic, video, print, advertising, etc. – across digital and physical assets

Coordinate all trade show efforts (show registrations, hotel reservations, exhibitor services, directory ads, and sponsorships), from cross functional planning, organizing, tracking, and execution on the floor

Assist in digital, web, and social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) efforts, regularly updating content and interpreting analytics, including preparation of status reports and results of the campaigns

Support new product development process, through organization and coordination of deadlines and vendor management within a cross functional team. Assist in the maintenance of packaging logs, including all updates & changes

Provide support for sales and operations team initiatives, including company events and support internal marketing programs

Manage marketing supply inventory and ordering

Requirements:

Four Year College Degree preferred

Work experience in marketing, communications, and/or digital media - including knowledge of social media best practices, tools, and etiquette

High-degree of proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point

Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Mail Chimp, and other marketing tools and techniques preferred

Adobe Creative Suite and basic CMS knowledge a plus

Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Work experience in the agriculture or environmental industry is a plus
