Before joining Jacobs Farm Del Cabo, the few local families struggled to make ends meet by selling livestock and charcoal made from local vegetation like mesquite trees, which took a toll on the local habitat. Growing more and more every year now, Tepentú cultivates tomatoes, squash, cucumber, and basil on about 400 acres.
